As a designer you always are thinking about having your own design firm. You have to pay your dues and work at various places to gain experience in order to move up the ladder.
I have always wanted to do what I was passionate about. I remember as a Fine Arts major thinking I want my art to impact people and make a difference. Little did I know it would be visually communicating ideas for products and companies who are touching lives. I absolutely love the combination of design and getting to know the people who want to impact others with their passions.

Branding Made Simple
Everyone wants to be at the top of their game, look the sleekest, and be the one others want to be. When it comes to your brand, think simple.
You must have a Brand ID that visually communicates who you are and what you do, and you must be consistent. Make sure you are using the same colors and fonts. Your logo is the foundational element of everything that represents your company. Keep aspects of your logo or graphic elements consistent in your material in everything you do.
When it comes to language, the CEO knows what the company is all about, but does the person answer the phone, take orders, or even, for that matter, deliver your product? I tell my clients that communication needs to be on the level of a fourth grader, simple, and easy to understand.
